Underwater there are only so many funny faces you can make!
We’ve spent the last week in Taganga, Colombia a small fishing village north of Santa Marta. We only meant to be here a couple of days but thankfully can sum up the whole week in one post – one of the main benefits here is that it is so chilled we could have stayed even longer! Plus… miracles happen… I can walk again! Its also one of the cheapest places in the world to try for your PADI Open Water, so we decided to give it a bash…
And then back to jungle boy, who makes it look spectacular with ease!
On Sunday we ventured from the main centre of Paraty to the famous local waterfalls, particularly the cascading Cachoeira do Toboga to do a bit of water sliding! Ironically, that part went exceptionally well, it was when I decided to do a bit of stretching that everything took a turn for the worse!
Lastly, apparently one of the best sights of Emei Shan, and its within ten minutes walk of the car park. We disagree... you need to do the whole thing!

Random Travelling Notes
In India, usually there won’t be a blanket to sleep under in your room. Taking a sheet or liner with you makes a much better sleeping experience!
